I've lost touch with dA.

Mostly I've been lazy.

But a large part of it is that I don't quite agree with the art scene here...ironically enough I'm writing a journal post about my disagreements with a site on said site. Wowee.

But c'est la vie. I still see beautiful art on here. Apart from the thousands of pavement photos in the street gallery that many people seem to misinterpret for actual photos of expanses of roads and strange anthropomorphic images of buxom foxes , there are many beautiful photographs and paintings and drawings on here. Each one a definite diamond in the rough.

I'll still post photos on here. I think it's still worth spreading a little love of art on a site that is so buried in mundane popular art trends.

Finals are around the corner and that means hiatus.

For all you folks out there doin' the college deal, good luck on finals!

Hello all!

Looks like this'll be the trend now: a nice summer break even from dA and when school starts again, so does this. I need an outlet for the stresses of school so I make photos and, albeit grudgingly against my reason, post em up here just for the hell of it...kinda.

So in the last post I spouted something about going street crazy when I got my hands on the 1.8. Well I got my hands on the 1.8 but haven't exactly made time to go out and blast away with it. I will do it soon enough though.

In the meantime, I hope everyone's having a good year so far as we come to a close and for all you folks who have started school, welcome yourself to a new year. For all you folks who have entered high school or college for the first time as a lowly and miserable freshman, good luck!

I'm dying without shoot or developing a roll of film.

The other day I developed two images from older film on some really spanking awesome paper...but then I totally fucked up...

I dunno man, these days back in my old hometown are making me lose my fucking cool.

But anyway I think that with the close of the year (for schooling that is) I think I might want to take my photography into new directions....maybe take a creative break from street photography and focus on another area.

lol, shit, take a break from street photography? Screw that. If I somehow get my hands on a 50mm 1.8 for my D50, I'll go street crazy.
